A Healthier Environment
Climate change is the greatest existential threat our planet has ever faced. It is urgent that we work together to curtail human-caused global climate change and that we protect the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat.
In California, many are suffering from the harmful effects of climate change, from frequent natural disasters to the public health impacts of pollution. The economic impacts of climate change will continue to be felt if we fail to act as well. In the Assembly, I will champion stronger environmental protections and incentivize research, development and creation of cleaner technologies that spur economic growth while ending and reversing the effects of climate change.
Throughout my law career I have represented people who had been harmed by pollutants and toxics in the environment, defective products, and dangerous conditions in the workplace. As an Assemblymember, I will continue to work to limit toxic emissions and pollutants, eliminate harmful substances in the manufacturing of products, and improve workplace safety regulations.
